Skate Clothes

The skate clothes industry is booming. The skateboarding “look” has been popular with teenagers for many years now and shows no signs of fading away. Evidence of this can be seen by simply walking through nearly any mall in America.

One of the most popular articles of skate clothes on the market are shoes. Most teenagers today prefer the look of skateboard shoes over the traditional sneaker and they can be found in the majority of fashion and athletic shoe stores. Millions of dollars are spent on these shoes every year, in this country alone.

T-shirts and jeans have been the uniform of skaters since the beginning. For many years, baggy pants were preferred because they looked “cool” and allowed for a great deal of movement. In recent years though, skinny jeans have taken over.
